Amber PICHON
Even if his initial domain of predilection is "classic",Ambre's determination leads her to experiment and get out of her comfort zone by launching into the unknown with her transverse flute.
Ambre began the transverse flute at the age of 7 at the conservatory of Cholet, then it was at the CRR of Lyon that she obtained her diploma in musical studies, and at the CRR of Rouen that she perfected her skills. She trained with great names in the flute, such as Philippe Bernold, José-Daniel Castellon, Pacal Feuvrier, Michel Lavignolle or Jean-Christophe Falala.
At first very attracted by the practice of orchestra, Ambre integrates various formations, like the orchestra of the young people of the area Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne, under the direction of Antoine Glatard, which enabled him to occur in rooms such as La grange au Lac d'Evian les Bains or the auditorium of Lyon. She participated in the symphonic accompaniment of Dick Annegarn during the Nuits de Fourvière festival in Lyon in 2018. She played in chamber music training, notably with flute-piano and flute-guitar duets, in repertoire ranging from Bach to Ourkouzounov, via Prokofiev and Piazzola.
Then she discovers the teaching for which she is passionate about when she joins the training center for music teachers in Normandy in 2018. Graduated in 2021, she has now been teaching for a few years at the conservatory of Sotteville-lès-Rouen and in the Intercom Bernay Terres de Normandie.Even if his musical training is essentially classical, his curiosity and open-mindedness lead him to approach a very wide range of repertoires. Thus, she does not hesitate to step out of her comfort zone, whether to experiment on her flute and in her playing, with effects, effects pedals and repertoires far removed from her initial practice.
In parallel with the transverse flute, Ambre also practices the saxophone, singing, the piano recently, and is introduced to the Celtic repertoire on an Irish flute.
Recently, she has played works by Dominique Lemaître, a contemporary Norman composer, and has been part of the Electrum 5tet since its creation.
